Running for us in the London Marathon 2012 will benefit our work in communities across Africa and South Asia helping prevent the spread of HIV and AIDS, increase the availability of family planning, reduce maternal mortality, and provide guidance about sexual & reproductive health care; often in the face of harmful social and cultural attitudes.
When is the London Marathon 2012? Sunday 22nd April 2012
Is there a deposit for place? Yes, we ask all runners to contribute £100 to secure their place and cover some of the cost.
Is there a minimum sponsorship requirement per runner? Yes, we ask all our runners to commit to raising £1,700 in sponsorship, this is about average for most charities with London Marathon places but will go a long way towards helping extremely vulnerable people.
In return for your required sponsorship and £100 deposit, you'll get:
