SRHR for Adolescents: Who are we Failing and Why?
On this page you can download our new report and literature review on adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights:
This review addresses the perception that, in the context of SRHR, all adolescents are equally ‘marginalised' and ‘vulnerable' due to their age and period of transition.
It explored how such a general assertion neglects the dramatically different situations and experiences of adolescents throughout the world: in reality, not all are equally ‘marginalised' or ‘vulnerable'.
The review asked: Who are we failing and why?, aiming to offer a disaggregation of the relevant factors and advocate for why it is critical to ‘know your adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights' and prioritise those that are most marginalised and vulnerable and have the greatest needs.
